Science

This is part of Kerry's shell collection...the shell's are grouped and numbered. It took some time to find all of their proper names but she did and here is a sample...

This shell is an oyster shell, isn't it pretty?
She has a table index for reference but she forgot to take a picture of that. I'll post it in a follow up.
Please go to www.lapazfarm.wordpress.com to check out all the great stuff going on in our Science class.

Science

Mangroves...we were able to explore some mangroves this past week..finally!
Kerry was braver then I she got right in there...finding ...crabs, minnows, a string ray, tree oysters and multiple fish an birds.

We paddled over to this area the closer we got we noticed two eyeballs and a snout...alligator...we turned and left. So this area will have to wait til next time..right? Ha!
